Hello, I'm YunHao
→ Hi! I'm Yun, studying Computer Engineering at NYU Tandon. My interest lies at the intersection of hardware and software to create more impactful technology (IoT, Embedded Systems, etc).
→ I'm the Electrical Systems Engineer of the Robotics Design Team at NYU Tandon. My involvement in the team revolves around developing the embedded code for our robot and systems engineering coordination with other competencies.
→ I love exploring new places and restaurants! I have been to several boba shops and dessert places in NY. Aside from being a foodie, I also enjoy going to the gym.
I worked under the building automation sector of Honeywell. My
project was to design an asset tracking system that also involved trying
to utilize the newest feature of Bluetooth 6.0 : Channel Sounding.
I was able to partake in Professor S. Farokh Atashzar's ongoing research
projects along with 4 other student researchers. One of our project was connecting
Unity and computer vision for hand tracking in the virtual environment.
Our team competes in NASA's Robotic Mining Competition: Lunabotics.
Part of what I do as a systems engineer is to make
sure our robot adheres to the guidelines listed in the competition rubric.
During the summer, I got to work with industry design engineers in
developing new consumer products. I was responsible for testing current
market goods that were competitive, and brainstorm plausible improvements
that can be implemented.
